Our Gratitude

Our Gratitude

In life of every person, gamer or not there is a someone, who have shared their light of hard earned knowledge and experience. Someone who has been a guide, teacher and sometimes an antagonist. In our (yet) small life as game designers, there are Teachers, that we feel a gratitude from the bottom of our hearts, for the things they have done.

At first we'd like to mention Ville Vourella, a Finnish game designer and writer. He is an author of original Stalker role-play game,  based on the Roadside picnic by Strugatsky brothers. His blog at burgergames.com has been a strong influence on many aspects of our game designs.

Alessio Cavatore, the legendary game designer, who is most know for Lord of the Rings  and Terminator: Genisys miniatures table top games. This man is a master of simple and elegant solutions to a massed combat. The River Horse is a company that accommodates his creativity.

Jake Thorton, another veteran of GW, and successful freelancer these days. His Game Design Theory series in his blog are a must read to anyone who tries to develop any game, but struggles without a guide how to do that.

The list is actually much longer, but for now the big three remain the biggest and most important influence on Star Wolfs  Studio development.

Thank you, Gentlemen for your guidance and expertise.

Thank you, for reading this.
